Although I love fashion and clothes, having small children meant shopping was becoming less of a priority for me due to family priorities. My wardrobe had a few nice items in it but upon reflection most things had been bought in a rush and it wasn't cohesive. Trying to look 'on trend' after having seasons of maternity wear had also become slightly mind boggling.

For someone like me that loves outsourcing creative skills that I lack and trying to be efficient with my time - Closet Confidential was the perfect solution. The at-home consultation with Charlotte was fantastic just for getting ideas on what did and didn't suit me, how different outfits could be put together and even advice on how existing pieces could be altered to be refreshed in the current season.

Charlotte then wrote up a report suggesting different outfit looks for a black tie event I was attending, fortieth parties, casual day wear that was a step up on what was currently being thrown on and great basics so that my existing individual pieces could be worn more. 

Shopping day was also a highlight. Having an honest and style-savvy consultant was helpful, fun and informative to give advice on fabric choices, colours and trends. After 4 hours I had the next six months of events sorted for outfits to wear. Charlotte had planned where we were going and what pieces were to be tried on so it was super efficient and a real luxury.

Charlotte selected a great range of shops to peruse - affordable, quality basics mixed with one or two investment pieces which was perfect. All the garments had a reason for being in my wardrobe and I had more confidence putting everything together with the right accessories. I honestly think working with Charlotte resulted in me saving money on clothes as I made far less mistakes and learned a lot in the process.

I would recommend Charlotte to anyone that has an interest in clothes but wants their wardrobe sorted in minimal (but a very enjoyable) time.

My partner purchased a wardrobe assessment and shopping trip with Closet Confidential as a gift for me. Initially I was very uncomfortable with the thought of someone looking in wardrobe, however Charlotte made the whole experience very relaxing and gave me some very honest and valuable advice.
